85 DAYS!!!!!!

So it's a total of 85 days until we're married! I can't wait.. I finished my summer psychology class with an A :) This is my last weekend before I start school again. Oh nursing school.. how I've missed you. I'm so blessed that my awesome work is going to work around my school schedule and keep me this fall! PTL! So for this semester I will be planning the rest of my wedding, studying for school and working! JOY :) No, really, I'm super excited.

Since the last time I blogged, I have gained a brother. His name is Jacob. He's technically my step-cousin, but he has came to live with us. I have been a only child for twenty years, but for the next three months I will live with a 15 year-old boy! He's really nice and funny. We have became friends.

All is good thanks to God! I hope all is well for everyone..

Well, we have a little less that four months until the wedding. I can't believe that! It seems like we just got engaged. We sent our our Save the Dates over the holiday weekend. Friday, Jay and I went to Little Rock to pick up three of the four bridesmaid dresses. I purchased my bridal shoes :) I was nervous because you couldn't return them so I was stepping out on a limb and praying that they were the right height for my dress. Tuesday, I went and tried them on with my dress and my prayers were answered. They were perfect! I'm so excited. I can't wait to marry my best friend:)

Our Save the Dates are in!!!

I'm so excited! Our Save the Dates came in yesterday. I have been patiently waiting for them. We are sending them to our out of town family. But here is a peek for those few that read my blog. We have 178 days until the wedding. I'm now wishing that I would have wanted to have a spring/summer wedding instead of a fall one. O'well... :)

Since January...

...I can't even begin to explain how things have changed. Jay and I have been really busy. I'm now working as a teacher at a local daycare and Jay is finishing up is first year or rad tech school. One more year to go! I'm am going to OTC this fall, and I'm working on getting into some summer classes. We just recently got our own P.O. Box together. We're excited, and yes, we know we're dorks. We had our engagement pictures taken about a month ago. I'll post some of them at the end of this. We're coming to a lot of yields on the path that God is taking us, but our faith is staying strong and getting us through. Thanks so much for reading :)

2010: We're Getting Married This Year!

Jay and I brought in the new year at his parent's house. We left Burleson, Tx on New's Year's Eve around 4:15pm. From Burleson to Sheridan it is 5 hours and 45 minutes, not including restroom and food stops. We took some snacks in the car so we wouldn't stop as much. We made good time because we got home in about 5 hours and 30 minutes. It poured the whole way home and it was absolutely freezing. Because Jay stresses out when he drives in the rain and when he stresses he has to have cool air he kept the a/c on the whole way home. It didn't help me, because my toes and fingers were already icecubes. But we made it home safe and sound a little after 9:30. Just in time to visit with some friends and celebrate the new year!

GREAT NEWS!: We're getting married this year. Our wedding date is November 6, 2010. We couldn't be any happier. We will be getting married in 10 months from yesterday. Jay started back to school this monday. I was too late registering for classes because my transcripts didn't get sent over Christmas break so all the classes I needed to take were full. I am now looking for a job. I know God will take care of me so I'm just in a state of constant prayer. It is very hard when Jay leaves for school because I know I should be with him, but I know everything happens for a reason and I'm giving all my worries to God.

I hope all of you had a safe and fun holiday. Thanks for reading :)
