2010: We're Getting Married This Year!
Jay and I brought in the new year at his parent's house. We left Burleson, Tx on New's Year's Eve around 4:15pm. From Burleson to Sheridan it is 5 hours and 45 minutes, not including restroom and food stops. We took some snacks in the car so we wouldn't stop as much. We made good time because we got home in about 5 hours and 30 minutes. It poured the whole way home and it was absolutely freezing. Because Jay stresses out when he drives in the rain and when he stresses he has to have cool air he kept the a/c on the whole way home. It didn't help me, because my toes and fingers were already icecubes. But we made it home safe and sound a little after 9:30. Just in time to visit with some friends and celebrate the new year!
GREAT NEWS!: We're getting married this year. Our wedding date is November 6, 2010. We couldn't be any happier. We will be getting married in 10 months from yesterday. Jay started back to school this monday. I was too late registering for classes because my transcripts didn't get sent over Christmas break so all the classes I needed to take were full. I am now looking for a job. I know God will take care of me so I'm just in a state of constant prayer. It is very hard when Jay leaves for school because I know I should be with him, but I know everything happens for a reason and I'm giving all my worries to God.
I hope all of you had a safe and fun holiday. Thanks for reading :)

CHRISTmas!!
This is the busiest time of the year! It seems like every year we find more places to be:
December 17th- I have a HUGE test!! (prayers please!)
December 19th- Merritt Christmas
December 20th- Wells Christmas
December 23rd- Little Christmas (parents)
December 24th- Moffett Christmas
December 25th- Stepp Christmas/Little Christmas (grandparents)
December 28-January 1- Texas Trip to see Brandon, Kim, Kiera & Kesley!
We just came back from Branson with Jay's parents, his brother and his brother's girlfriend. We left friday on the 4th of December. That night we went to Branson Landing, shopped around and ate at Famous Daves. We went to two different drive-thru Christmas light thingys. The second one was the best. The Trail of Lights was 2 1/2 miles long. It was very impressive! The 5th we went to the Tanger Outlets and the Red Roof Mall. We got a lot of good deals and most of our gifts out of the way. That night we went to Silver Dollar City. I had a blast. The lights were amazing. We saw the play, A Christmas Carol. It was unbelievably cold that night so Jay and I enjoyed their funnel cakes and hot chocolate! Yum. On the 6th we finished up shopping and headed home around noon.

Fall Pictures at Mamaw & Papaw's
Last Sunday after church, Jay and I went to my grandparents house in Pine Bluff to tell everyone we are engaged, have lunch and take pictures :) My dad, step-mom, aunts, uncles and cousins were there. We had yummy hamburger patties w/gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, mac & cheese, sweet peas, rolls, lemon pie and coconut pie. We were stuffed! Everyone is very happy for us and they all loved my ring. Not as much as I do though :) haha! Here are some pictures my aunt Sandra took of me and Jay around my Mamaw & Papaw's house. I am also going to show you pictures of my beautiful pumpkin Jay carved for me asking me if I would marry him and pictures of my ring!

BHSLR - SPN & RAD ♥

Jay and I started school about two months ago. Nursing school is hard. LOL! Jay absolutely loves doing clinicals in the ER (as a Rad Tech). I haven't got there, but I know that ICU and Neuro are not my favorite floors in the world. We enjoyed carpooling, because it gave us time to sit and enjoy each other's company every day. I started clinicals about two weeks ago, which makes me have to get up at 4, leave at 5 to be there by 6. Jay doesn't have to be there until 8, so we don't carpool somedays. All is good in our world, we just don't have much of a life outside of studying and studying. Jay's bday is in two weeks and we're planning on going to Playtime Pizza with friends and family. I'm excited it's getting cooler. Fall is my favorite season by far!! Bring on the cold!!
